If you want to live by faith, you’ve got to know what faith is. Romans 10:17 says; “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Therefore without the word of God there will be no faith. If you want to know how to live by faith, you’ve got to know the word of God. Many Christian wants to live by faith, but they do not know the word of God.
Faith grow out of the word. We know that without a seed there will be no tree. You can not obtain faith without the word of God. Faith grows out of the word. If you fail to go to the word, don’t expect your faith to grow. How can you overcome lack in your life if you do not know what the word of God says about provision? How can you be healed of your sickness if you do not know what the word of God says about healing? How can you be free from your bondage if you do not know what the word of God says about deliverance? Lack hinders growth. Sickness hinders growth. Bondage hinders growth. This is the reason why Christian who does not know the word of God does not grow.
You’ve got to have a basis why you believe that you are healed. You’ve got to have a basis why you believe that you have every provisions. You’ve got to have a basis why you believe that you had been delivered from sin. And that basis is in the word of God. If you can explain in the Scriptures that you had been healed, provided for and delivered from sin, blessed are you!
Suggested Prayer: Father God, I will hide your words in my heart because that’s Your definition of a person living by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
